Who We Are
Founded by the former members of The University Church, The Garden Community Church came about as a natural result prayer and work that community had been doing. After about 20 years, the remnant of The University Church decided that they wanted to rebrand and restart to more accurately reflect their identity as a people who worship not only on Sunday mornings, but through their care for nature and their love for neighbor.
The Garden Community Church is a community of believers dedicated to sharing the good news of God's grace through worship, caring for the creation, and loving our neighbors, and loving our neighbors.
Our style of worship is eclectic, influenced by contemporary charismatic style services as well as more traditional and liturgical forms of worship. We take the Lord's Supper every Sunday in keeping with the Wesleyan tradition.
Most importantly, our Sunday morning gathering is centered around community and connection. Connection with each other, and connection with the person Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.
