At The Garden, we embrace what John Wesley "The Big Tent." Meaning, we have members of all different beliefs and backgrounds. Some are more conservative while others are more progressive in their theology. We seek not to draw lines in the sand, but rather seek to fix our eyes on Jesus, instead of our differences. The body of Christ is large, and the hand cannot say to the foot "I don't need you." Rather, every part is essential for the proper functioning of the body. When we sit at the table with others, including those we disagree with, we learn from each other, and grow in our capacity for love.
